Request a church packet ~ It starts with you. If they don't know, they won't come. There are thousands of Christians in Tacoma that would love to participate in this life saving ministry if they only knew it existed. Make sure you get a church packet to give to your pastor and ask if your church can participate. Send an E-mail to john@tacoma40days.com to recieve your packet.
Volunteer ~ 40 Days for Life is a grass roots effort. It is only possible if ordinary people like all of us volunteer our talents and time to make it happen. God has given us all unique talents and skills. Yours might be the one that has gone unfilled or that lone volunteer who has been faithfully working to see things through might be waiting for you to join them. Works! Here are the results:
- Over 550,000 have joined together in an historic display of unity to pray and fast for an end to abortion
- More than 15,500 Church congregations have participated in the 40 Days for Life campaigns.
- Reports document 6,749 lives that have been spared from abortion — and those are just the ones we know about
- 75 abortion workers have quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry
- 25 abortion facilities completely shut down following local 40 Days for Life campaigns
- Hundreds of women and men have been spared from the tragic effects of abortion, including a lifetime of regrets
- Many people with past abortion experiences have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery
After so many years of legalized abortion, many people of faith are experiencing a renewed sense of HOPE!
