Midpoint Rally:

Our Midpoint Rally will take place on March 9th. We will stand at the corner of Winters Freeway and Buffalo Gap from 7:00-9:00am and again from 4:00-6:00pm.

Meeting:

Our next 40 Days for Life meeting will take place on March 7th at 2:00 pm at 1317 N 8th St.  Enter on the west side; we meet upstairs on the top floor. 

Abilene Bound 4 Life:

Abilene Bound 4 Life will hold a prayer meeting on March 5th at 6:00pm at Beltway Baptist Church. The next Saturday they will hold a peaceful, prayer-filled silent siege for one hour in front of Planned Parenthood. For more information, e-mail abilenebound4life@yahoo.com.

Prayer and Reparation:

Attention!  Changes have been made to the time and location of this event!  Please join us on Friday, March 5th for prayer and penance for the unborn.  We meet at St. Francis of Assissi 826 Cottonwood Street. The meeting begins at 8:00pm.  We pray as a group until around 2:00-3:00am.  You are free to come in late or go early.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:
  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Abilene—and throughout America.

Abilene is excited to be a part of the spring 40 Days for Life campaign from February 17 - March 28.   Abilene is gearing up for a bigger and better prayer vigil this spring.

This spring 40 Days for Life Abilene will maintain a prayer vigil at the Planned Parenthood  location. We are pulling out all the stops to allow God to work through us like never before to end abortion.

Take a stand for life 

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facilities. 

Across the country and world, 40 Days for Life has seen blessings as well:

  * More than 1,560 women who have chosen life for children 
    they intended to abort 
  * Countless men and women with abortions in their past 
    finally started to seek healing 
  * 18 workers in the abortion industry have questioned and 
    left their jobs
  * More than 100,000 Christians have brought their faith to 
    the streets, and thousands upon thousands of hearts have 
    been changed.
  * 240 cities in 50 states have participated, and 6 other 
    countries have participated too
  * 3 abortion facilities shut down for good

beingHUMAN
The award winning pro-life documentary beingHUMAN, featuring the 40 Days for Life campaign, will be airing Friday January 22 on the EWTN network. EWTN is available on many cable and satellite systems.

This episode highlights the 40 Days for Life campaign. It features interviews with local and national leaders and volunteers who were involved in making this local campaign one of the largest pro-life mobilizations in history.

The program may be viewed live online on January 22 at 3 am and 6:30 pm Eastern time. Click here and then select "Live EWTN TV."

In addition, Focus on the Family will be airing a two-part radio show about 40 Days for Life on Thursday, January 21 and Friday, January 22. The programs will feature 40 Days for Life campaign director Shawn Carney and former Planned Parenthood abortion center director Abby Johnson.

This is an ultrasound of a baby 28 weeks after its life began in its mothers womb. 




One life saved:

Our Abilene 40daysforlife team has saved its first baby!!!  A young woman that went in PP, with the intention of having an abortion, changed her mind because of watching our volunteers praying and sacrificing for her and others.  She decided she would keep her baby!!!!
