YOU can help save lives!

From February 17th - April 2nd, our community will be one of more than 209 cities in 45 American states, five Canadian provinces and Denmark who will conduct simultaneous 40 Days for Life campaigns.

The 40 Days for Life campaign is an effort to bring people of faith together in prayer to end the loss of pre-born human life and to pray for the healing of those affected by abortion.  It is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of public witness

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in Albuquerque -- and throughout America. 

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion facility.  The vigil is peaceful; participants agree to a "Code of Conduct" with a pledge that they will conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner. All people are welcome!

You can help make a life-saving impact by signing up for at least one one-hour block of time to join our local vigil at:

For this location you can check in, pick up a sign (optional), and get water at:

Sign up to participate in a vigil at this site by clicking the "Vigil Schedule" link at the top of this page.  You can register, then you will receive an email confirmation.  At that time you can sign up for an hour block of time in which you will pray in front of Planned Parenthood.
