Tuesday 6th - Sidewalk Counselor Training
If you're interested in learning how to reach out to women considering an abortion in a loving and effective way, we have a training just for you. Tuesday October 6 at 6:00 pm you have the opportunity to receive everything you need to start dialoguing with women at the abortion facility. Pizza will be served and the training will run about 2.5 hours long. Email info@austincoalitionforlife.com to RSVP and for more info.
Sunday 5th - 40 Days for Life at St. James Missionary Baptist
This Sunday, Austin Campaign Director Elizabeth McClung will share the mission of 40 Days for Life with members of St. James Missionary Baptist church. Pastor McClendon constantly shares the pro-life message with his church, since his mother was told to abort him when she was pregnant. A table will be set up after the church service with more information on 40 Days for Life and ways to get involved.
Monday 12th - Halfway Event
Day 20, everyone is invited to this fall 40 Days for Life Halfway Event. Join us for praise and worship, hearing the testimony of a woman who has had an abortion, and a candle-lit prayer vigil. The event will begin at 7:30 pm at the south Austin prayer vigil site (1902 S IH 35). Bring your friends and family to this moving evening to get re-fueled for the second half of the campaign.
