40 Days for Life protests Austin abortion clinics

Hundreds of Austin locals have volunteered to participate in the local branch of the national 40 Days for Life fall campaign.
Nationally, 24-hour prayer vigils are being held outside abortion clinics around the country. Austin volunteers set up outside two local abortion clinics last week, and will maintain a presence there until November 1.

Tuesday night, on a busy stretch of road in North Austin, over 100 pro-life activists gathered literally on the front lines of the fight against abortion – outside an abortion clinic that looked more like a military compound than a health care center. Yet if anyone expects anger, rage or condemnation from these advocates, you can forget about it.

Pro-Life Vigil at Austin Health Clinics

Austin, TX (myFOXaustin.com) - A pro-life vigil is underway at two Austin health clinics for women.
Organizers with the "40-days of life" event say about 300 people have signed up to take part in the vigil. Between now and November 1, volunteers will stand in front of a clinic along I-35 south and at another clinic on Anderson Mill Road.
