On Monday, October 12, 75 faithful pro-life volunteers gathered on the sidewalk at the south Austin prayer vigil site for a Day 20 Event. Fr. Len from St. Francis Anglican led prayer and shared some very encouraging words to help inspire Christians to go out to the sidewalk to pray at local abortion facilities. Susan Parker shared her testimony of her abortion experience in hopes that her story might open people's eyes to the reality and pain of abortion. Austin Campaign Director Elizabeth McClung spoke about the 40 day vigil and offered convicting words to help motivate pro-lifers during the second half of the campaign.
Speakers were followed by a candle-lit prayer vigil with praise and worship music.
