This morning, two sisters arrived at PP with two little children. They all went inside, but the PP staff made the driver sister and her children leave. She was very upset and pulled out of the parking lot. One of our vigil volunteers felt called to talk to her and to give her a brochure. She left, and soon our volunteer left. However, 10 minutes later, the same car returned and the volunteers noted that the driver was a woman and the girl got in the car and they left. We are grateful to God! I could have easily died because of the neglect of the doctor that performed my abortion. Although I am not able to make it to the door of the clinics in my area on a daily basis, I will be fasting and praying daily for the protection of women and their unborn children. The 40 Days for Life campaign and the many caring pro-life leaders have made me realize my need to repent and ask God's forgiveness for all the years that I remained silent while other women were wounded and their babies died. When I pray for mercy and healing for myself, I also pray for the mercy for all those that have suffered this atrocity. This is not just about me, it is about all of us. May God have mercy on our nation and grant us forgiveness as we humble ourselves in prayer and turn from this horrible sin on humanity. During this campaign I am offering all of this for the 40 days for life campaign since I can't make it to the abortion mill as much as I'd like to. During a campaign in 2007, the mill where we used to pray in front of in Hyannis, MA closed due to the death of a client. And that mill was not part of the 40 Days for Life. As tragic as the death was, the mills don't always close when a woman dies, so perhaps the campaign had something to do with exposing the abortionist's responsibility for her death and putting him out of business.
