I could not make the time when our parish was signed up to do it. Living 45 minutes from GF always having to get to one place to another in a timely manner just so you can make it back home for the kids to get out of school. I have had a big calling from God to pray in front of PPH. I got to GF to do my oil change and got a phone call from work saying I was scheduled to work. I was lucky they found someone to cover me. (Got home late afternoon and I put it down in March, not February). Just God finding time for me to serve him and others. I also had a tire rotation and shopping to get done and found time to stop and pray. I was nervous since there were only two gals I had never meet standing on the corner. So I joined them as God has been calling me to do. I was extremely shocked how many people in one hour visited the PPH. We only had one guy yell something out, "God made it muffled so we couldn't hear him". We had lots of people wave and honk as they drove by. It was cold, but worth the time to meet two wonderful ladies and spend time showing God's love for others. God has been calling me hard to be his ambassador (2 Corinthians 5: 18-20) This is what the Lord even had me read this morning before I left for the day! I pray many more will have the courage to join 40 Days of life!! I will continue to pray daily for the unborn and the parents that think this is the only way out! One lady said her whole family had been healed because of what she'd seen in us... I won't go into details to protect her identity, but she cried as she told us, and said it was our constancy, and our praying, and trying to help the women going in, that really opened her heart. We are so grateful to Shawn and David (and all the wonderful people behind the scenes) who do this full time I assume... Hallelujah! Abby Johnson spoke here at Colo State University the day before 40 Days began and she cited a statistic that has me all excited. Alot of performers go out and play there music for money on the street in front of the stores. I prayed for a singer to come and sing ave maria outside of the Planned Parenthood that is in the middle of the mall. One came!!! I also prayed for God to send us Pro-Life demonstrators and the SURVIVORS.LA came out and did a huge DIE-IN! I wanted a fdl to come here, but you need to be in a group, and this is a VERY liberal area--Even though there is a CAtholic Church nearby-I got the bright idea to go out on the Promenade with a table of my own in front of the clinic. Now I go out there by myself with a table and all my pro-life information and people are thanking me for that-a bit of a lone ranger, but even with that--God has provided me with alot of support from strangers. There are so many pro-lifers out there, and I had no idea. Now I know because they come up to me and thank me for my work. I feel like a soldier for Christ. It feels good.
