I speak from personal experience on both sides of life --- the 'easy' one that brought hollow, vacant life, and the 'hard' one of doing the right and often lonely thing for the next 15 years until the Lord graced me with an awesome husband. We celebrate 25 years of a strong, wonderful life in Christ together. I have a question — the courageous men and women participatin with such love and faith are showing 40 Days for Life to be an awesome witness to the world of righteousness —- can we not also offer such awesome, public vigils to proclaim the (sometimes hard) joy of living a life of chastity?

I also share e-mails with family and friens so they can pray these 40 days to save babies. Sadly we are not able to take the baby from the womb and travel through an underground tunnel as many did with slaves, or hide these babies in our Attics as so many did when Hitler was on his rampage in Europe. However, we can pray rosaries at the abortion sites or at home for conversions of the parents, families, abortionsists, judges and representatives in our government be touched by the Holy Spirit and be enlightened and do all in their power to save the lives of our babies, disabled and elderly. Come Holy Spirit and renew the face of the Earth. Hear our prayers Heavenly Father and know that not all in America approve of these evil laws and practices. More people are needed to be here to help women see God loves them and for them to have a change in heart knowing God will be with them always. We pray they make the right choice. The little bit I saw was very powerful and moving. Thanks be to God for these young men& women. We have had a hard time getting enough prayer volunteers to cover the time slots. Because there have been times when the vigil site has been unattended the police were called and the signs removed. Obviously we are being watched and our presence is making an impact. We cannot post any signs going forward unless the site will be fully staffed on any given day.
