I just want to remind you that Green Bay was the third city in the world to hold a 40 Days for Life vigil in spring 2006. That is more than six years ago, BEFORE the beginning of what is now the national/international world wide organization it has become since 2007. I was not directly involved with the organization of that first Green Bay event. In fact, I was only able to assist in commiting my parish with a neigboring parish to cover 12 consecutive hours in prayer on June 6, 2006. However, I was a very good friend of a woman who really dedicated a lot of time and effort to make that event occur. I just would like to see that reflected when Green Bay is mentioned, out of gratitude to that first Green Bay 40 Days for Life team. Thank you.

I have participated in our local 40 Days for Life in the past 3 years, but am unable to do so this time, due to some ageing health problems. But, know that with all my heart and soul, that I am with all of you spiritually, and praying and fasting with you. Someday soon, God will answer our prayers and efforts to stop abortion and all the other related life issues in His own way and time. Our job is to do our best, and let Him do the rest.

I went to my first 40 days for Life event last night in Beaverton Oregon. It was very touching. I met people there with a heart for the Lord and who loved the unborn babies. It was eery for me to stand in front of a Planned Parenthood building, knowing what murder and dismemberment was going on at any moment within it's walls. It looked like any other building in a tree-lined street... but I knew better. Our prayers and signs caused a lot of people driving by to either give us the finger, shake their heads in disgust, or rev up their engines in support... we never knew what to expect, but one thing is for sure: our voices sang out in prayer and praises to our God, who is abundantly able and will close this killing center down someday. Amen!

Nancy - just make your own sign and go out there and pray. Remember Nineva. God saved the city for one righteous person.

Andy Burton did a wonderful job. He said it so well - that the truth is often not palatable. But, the truth is the truth. I think it is so easy to be pro choice (pro death) when you are already born and are not in danger of dying. Just think of yourself at the merciless hands of a serial killer and tell me what would you think. Would you think - hey, stop, I want to live?
That is what our little babies in the womb think when the instrument of abortion is aimed at them. Save our babies - pray pray and pray some more.

Nancy, even if you didn't have "enough people signed up", please do it anyway. Organize what few people you have to go and pray, inviting others to join you! Although it won't be a formal 40 Days, I'm sure by God's grace, lives will be saved and awareness will be raised in your community, perhaps even giving you the momentum to register fully next spring. Blessings!

After more than thirty years, we need to represent those women, who even though raped were courageous enough to keep their child and have happy endings.

I drove by one of the clinics here in San Antonio, I was so excited to see them! I honked and waved, I'm looking forward to sign up soon!

Brilliant interview from the Milton Keynes representative! The interviewer kept interrupting him, inserting his own opinion, and seeming quite exercised at the end of the segment, but Andy kept his cool and reiterated that every baby has a right to life. May God bless every 40 Days' participant but especially those in countries such as England that are very complacent about the horror of abortion. It is a government-protected right there and the effort of 40 Days is so important.

Andy Burton in London did a fabulous job with the interview.
God was right beside him during that time. Keep up your great work for our children.
Wish we could have had our 40Days but not enough people signed up to try to save the children here in Plattsburgh, NY. That is shameful!
