When I get to my post I pray for God's intervention in possible plans for an abortion, and for those driving by to have their hearts opened up to God's plan for this world and how it's supposed to work, suddenly MANY people will drive by on an otherwise nearly deserted street, people in agreement will smile or wave, others won't even look at me, so I know they feel the conviction in their hearts. There is a voting location cross corner from where I'm standing and I will frequently walk to that end of the sidewalk to give anyone looking a chance to read my sign, then I pray they vote for the child. I really love doing this, it makes me see the long term reaction to putting this message out. Thanks for the opportunity. P.S. This is my first year of doing this. He gave me his card and told me he was Leon Benoit, a federal Conservative M.P. who was a member of a Commons caucus working to further the pro-life agenda. He told me that he was sad that Motion??? had been rejected, but that there was still hope because a British Columbia M.P. named Marc Warawa was in the process of introducing a new motion to end "sex-selective" abortions and that the debate on this new motion should start sometime before Christmas. He added that since all three parties had proclaimed that they were against this type of abortion, the new motion would surely be approved. He then left me. Let us remember that all of us on earth have been assigned a guardian angel. Think of the guardian angels assigned to men and women involved in the abortion industry. How sad they must be! What a challenge to open the blinded eyes of the souls of their charges! Each woman going in for an abortion also is accompanied by her own guardian angel and the guardian angel of her unborn child. The pro life community has an angelic host of angels at work with us in this spiritual battle for the lives of the unborn children and the souls of all involved. Today, and every day, let us appeal to the angels who guard and guide us. Let there be peace in our land. Peace knowing unborn children are safe and secure and not threatened with violence. Amen. A Russian immagrant say our booth and asked if we would pray for healing for his aches and pains. Of course we would. We were all encouraged by the communion of our fellowship. Yesterday, Monday, a 20 year old man stopped by. He was wearing a Nike shirt. I asked him if he knew what Nike meant. It struck up a whole conversation that ended up with him taking some literature with a parting comment, "I will check you out on the internet." Our group was privilideged to pray for this young man as well. Chaplain Pete Kenmore has had some marvelous experiences in community outreach efforts.
