Good for you, Maureen, your certainly are one of God's warriors of LOVE... I will keep you in my prayers...and know you are never really alone....God is with you in whatever you do in His name. Standing up, being a prayerful, peaceful presence in a place of death for our littliest brothers and sisters, a witness to what is going on in that hospital. I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU, doing His Will isn't usually in the majority, sadly.
MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU, ABUNDANTLY.

Well my story is somewhat different. I live in Prince Rupert BC and we do not have a PP clinic, but our local hospital performs abortions. I would love to have a 40 days for life campaign here but all my efforts to engage people in Pro Life have fallen on mostly deaf ears. My own parish, although there are a few who support me, is mostly silent. Anyway I decided I would go alone----hold my sign PRAY TO END ABORTION----In the past 3 weeks, one person has joined me for 1 hour to pray. I wondered if anyone inside the hospital even knew I was there. Well today I found out. Apparently someone called the police and they came to speak to me. I was never on hospital property, but only on the city sidewalk. I felt elated that they knew I was there. Yay!! Shortly afrter I got home the police called me to say that I could not be within 500 feet of the hospital property!!! So now I have to check that out------I will still be able to go across the street------which I will do tomorrow. Praise God-----some consciences are being ruffled. No stats are available as to how many abortions are being done in our small hosppital, but a nurse told me there are about 5-6 weekly. Pray for me.......

Today was my second time praying in front of "A Woman's Choice" in Raleigh NC. This time, my daughter came with me. We prayed and cried and prayed. It made me think of how Jesus weeps for us and cries out to God the Father on our behalf (Hebrews 5:1-10). He weeps for the unborn and cries out to us to pray and weep for them, and for their mothers and families, and even for the abortionists.

This time I noticed the signs in front of the building. One said "No Parking Any Time". I prayed that no one would ever park there again, that the center would be closed and that those who work there would become advocates for life.

Another sign said "No Trespassing. Violators Will Be Prosecuted." I prayed for those who trespassed against God, the unborn, mothers and families, by performing abortions and violating them. I prayed that they would all be delivered from evil and that the demonic presence in that place would be cast out.

The cool breeze in the bright sunshine reminded me that The Holy Spirit was also present, working in mothers, families and abortion workers on behalf of those unborn children.

Soon after we arrived to pray and right before we left, two cars came by with the drivers smiling and waving at us. In between a woman walked by smiled and said hi. The workers and others driving in and out looked so sad. We continue to pray for them.

We have a new pastor at my church and he started something we never did before with the other pastor. During the "prayers of the faithful" at daily Mass, he invites the congregation to speak their prayers aloud. So every single day, my congregation (who are not involved in 40DFL) pray with me "for an end to abortion"
God is so good.

God can do mighty things with a small group of people. Before the Vigil, I called one of the sidewalk counselors who spends several mornings a week outside the clinic, and she thought 10 babies had been saved since the Campaign started. Through the combined prayers of supporters at home, in our Churches, Adoration Chapels, and on site prayer warriors, God has, indeed, done mighty things! Our Glendale, Arizona Vigil site had their 1/2 Way Vigil on Oct. 13th. As we were setting up for the 7PM Vigil, a young mother with her 2 children was driving past us and she stopped her car to chat with the prayer volunteers.
I went over to talk with her and she handed me a note and said, "I just wanted to thank you." "For what?", I asked. "Thank you for being here," she smiling said. We chatted another minute or 2 and then she drove off. I latter read her note to the Vigil participants and it said, "Thank you for taking your time to help and pray for these mothers and their unborn beautiful babies. Keep up the great work. God bless, Sandy."
As a new Campaign Director, I had worried about the success of our campaign, as not many people signed up to come out and pray at the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. But it occurred to me that God can do mighty things with a small group of people. Before the Vigil, I called one of the side walk counselors, who spends several mornings each week saving babies from abortion. She told me approximately 10 babies had been saved since the Campaign started. Through the combined prayers of supporters at home, in our Churches, Adoration Chapels and on-site prayer warriors, God has, indeed, done might things!
