Mary O.
The word is out. I am praying with you and the good Lord Jesus hears every prayer and He too is praying to the Father for you and with you. In 2 Kings 6:17 the prophet Elisha prayed "O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see." So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire, all around Elisha. We are never alone when we pray, and we must never let Satan steal our joy or our hope. Do not be discouraged my sister in the Lord. I wonder how many others have read your words and are praying at this very moment.....with you and for you. Never forget, you are on the winning side in this issue, the side that glorifies God!

I've never prayed at an abortion clinic, but Abby Johnson's "Unplanned" was so inspiring that I thought "40 Days for Life" would be the perfect time to start! I signed up for six Saturdays between 11:00 & 1:00, so I expected to meet a lot of people who value life as I do. Unfortunately, I met very few.

I was even more disappointed that almost no one had signed up online in Omaha, NE. Maybe they didn't know about the online sign up. Maybe they didn't use computers. Maybe they didn't want to commit, but instead, show up whenever. Maybe most of them went to Bellevue, NE where Leroy Carhart's abortion clinic is. (If you remember recent history, Carhart is a late-term abortionist, though it is now illegal to perform late-term abortions in Nebraska.) That's fine with me, as long as people ARE going to the clinics to pray.

Nebraska is very pro-life; that's why I'm surprised so few have shown up during my hour of prayer. Maybe we're so pro-life that we don't realize what's going on in our own state. Or maybe, like I once was, we are so uninspired or fearful of what really goes on outside of a PP clinic. I have to admit, I imagined constant bickering and parading signs of post-abortive children, which both cause even more turmoil between sides. I've prayed on four Saturdays now and not one by-passer (on a busy street) has said a word to me. On Saturday mornings it is peaceful outside of the PP in Omaha.

How do we get the word out?

Let us pray for all the babies who have been aborted and are now with Jesus, millions, maybe even billions with contraception, to help us elect a pro-life president, a pro-life vice-president and pro-life senators and representatives to congress and within the state legislatures as well. We pray for an end to this horrendous evil, once and for all. God hear our prayers! May He have mercy on us and deliver us from all evil, especially from evil leaders. Amen.

Thank you, Lord God, for the gift of life! Thank you for giving us the hope that someday our lives will forever be eternal with you. Thank you for the gift of 40 Days for Life and the lives they save. Thank you for EVERYTHING that you have given us, life especially! Amen.

Oh my gosh...I am so glad that that woman decided to keep her twins. Thank the Lord, God, for that. Also, thank the Lord for saving all of the lives that have already been saved and for those that will be saved.
Let's all pray that more and more abortion clinic employees will decide to quit and that more people will discover how bad abortion is and then become pro-life followers. Lets hope that abortion will no longer be legal and that more people will support this.

LET'S ALL CHEER FOR THE LIVES THAT HAVE AND WILL BE SAVED!

Thank You, Almighty Lord Jesus, for the gift of life. Thank You for the hope of eternal life with You, paid for by Your blood which paid the penalty for our breaking of Your commands. Lord, help us to seek You in all our ways, to turn from our evil ways, and seek righteousness and truth. Help us to protect the innocent from all attacks of the enemy, which seek to steal, kill, and destroy. Thank you for Your Spirit and Your Mighty power, available to all who believe. Thank You for all participants of 40 Days for Life. Thank You for all who seek an end to the slaughter of the little ones; the least of these. Give us victory in these last days. In the Powerful Name of Jesus, Jeshua. Amen.

I received a Pray to End Abortion/40 Days for Life sign from my son and daughter-in-law in Bemidji, MN, where a current prayer campaign is being held. I put the sign at the end of our driveway. (We live in the rural outskirts of a small town, International Falls, MN.) Yesterday a Fed-Ex driver came to deliver some packages to our door. Before she left, she said, “I am praying to end abortion, too!” It was just a small thing, but we felt a common bond right away! Thank the Lord for pro-life people! May we have the graces needed to spread the culture of life message! God bless you for all, 40 Days for Life participants and organizers!
P.S. I have been copying the devotional prayer each day and putting it in our Adoration Chapel for others to read and pray.

I thought Martin Haskell had been shut down years ago! I can't believe he's still operating an abortion clinic in Dayton! I'm so upset by this. And he has one in Cincinnati, too? I'm appalled. We prayed so hard. I'm from Dayton but now living in Texas. I will pray again for his clinics to be shut down.

I am encouraged by all the sites that are doing their part in making the birth
of these new babies possible.

Your emails with the sites shown are so encouraging. Keep up the good work and bless all the sites and this website for the accomplishements so far. We pray for you all and hope to hear more positive saved births by end of 40 days. An Iowa resident

My name is Geri Murchison. This is the 2nd year I've been involved with 40 Days for Life, much to the chagrin of family and friends who call me self-rightous and attack my true principles as if they were evil. It is sad so very few in our church or parishes stand up for the precious rights of the little children of God.

Praying in front of the Abortion Mill in Oakland, California I have no fear of what might happen, but only hope that our prayers will be a beacon of light and a chance for change in the souls of all who enter and those in the community.

People on the street often make snide remarks, one lady came right up to my face shaking her fiinger saying I should be ashamed of myself. An athiest approached and said that he did not believe in God but that he supported what we were doing so I prayed for him and his conversion. Another man from another church approached, asked questions and wanted to know if he could come back and pray for us. So we are not only helping those who go into planned parenthood but we are a strong presence in our commnities who sometimes don't even know that the buildilng is condcucting abortions. Many people pass and say God bless.

So now when someone attacks my true principles, I just quietly respond that I will always defend what I believe is an atrocity of killing. It is even more dangerous because Planned Parenthood has everyone, even Christians, believing that they are saving the world from unwanted pregnancies. They talk about the rights of Women and Pro-Cnoice, but forget about the rights of the helpless unborn child. Where is his or her choice?

40 days for Life is truly a way to educate the public to the truth in quiet, non-violent ways and to stand up with courage in the face of despair and offer hope to those entering the facility and those on the street. God is good and His spirit will endure for all ages. It is a blessing to pray with all the prayer warriors and to especially pray for our fearless street counselor Yassin Jacob. Many have been saved by our presence and to see the joy in their faces after making the right decision is truly Devine Grace in action.
Grace erases fear and brings peace.

Love, Geri
