Deuteronomy 30:19
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Father open the eyes of our hearts that we may see that when we destroy the lives of our children we destroy our own lives.
Turn our nation back to you that we might choose life and blessing over death and curses for this generation and generations to come.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen

What a joy to be involved with the 40 Days for Life. On day 38, we have all come together and decided that this will go on. Everyday until Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic of Spring Valley, New York is closed down, we will be praying for one hour. All faiths, all ethnic backgrounds, all ages, will come together daily until Planned Parenthood is removed from our children and our community. To God all the honor and praise belongs! Amen!

Thank God for all the prayers! If anyone wants to check out the famous EmilyX from Planned Parenthood, her blog site is http://iamemilyx.blogspot.com/
It's absolutely ridiculous the work these people think they are doing there is beneficial to us women. She actually has a Protestor Fundraiser going on.
Keep up the prayers, storm the heavens!

Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ!

In Everett, as we pray in front of PP, we are blessed in hearing post-abortive women tell us "Thank-you" and ask us to help others avoid their pain.
As we pray, we are blessed to see young anxious couples walk up to pp then turn around, get in their cars, have long discussions, and then leave.
As we pray, we are blessed and strengthened in standing together in faith, knowing that with God, nothing is impossible. As we pray, those of us missing grandbabies are tenderly healed by seeing faithful young married couples with babies and small children standing in prayer for life.

As we pray, we are reminded that the bitter comments and actions of some angry people only reflect a defensive cry of deep pain from self-inflicted wounds that only our Lord's love can heal.

Let us remember always that God loves each of us in our worst moments. God may be using the trial of abortion to test the condition of our hearts and our faith. We must pray always to be in His Will and to show the love, mercy, compassion and forgiveness that He has shown us. Let us constantly humble ourselves in His Service to His Glory.

On Whidbey Island, I will stand in front of a small hospital clinic that allows PP to hold clinic once a week This clinic refers to Everett and Seattle for abortions. They have been flying under the radar for quite a long time, but not now! Thanks for the idea, David. We look forward to seeing you in Everett. Praying you have a safe trip up here.

Thanks for the conference. The news and interviews were very encouraging. As the old saying goes, "There are more of us out there than people think!" It is definitely not the time to let up on PP.

Blessings in His Majestic Name

Thank you for updating me with the voices of those that prayed at the abortuaries in 40-Days for Life. What I especially liked is the encouragement and enthusiasm and prayer, especially from Sen. Sam Brownback and Fr. Pavone. I hope this continues again soon.

God bless,
Elaine

I thank God for you and all the persons connected with 40 days for life. My sister Rita, and I have seen in this town, the apathy in this, a college town, the Protestant Churches, and in the Catholic Churches, you could cut the apathy with a knife. This is truly a pro-abort town. Some have come out to witness and I want to thank them for taking time to witness for the unborn. I want to thank you for all the support, the teleconference, and all the prayers said. When God says to me, "What did you do for the least of my brethen, the unborn?" Their are millions who will say, "Be good to her, she was good to us."

(Message sent to 36-year-old nonviolence and peace group:)

Dear Institute for Peace and Justice Representative,

Your website invites readers to "Contact us with your questions or comments".

Excerpts from your website state:

“This is the Family Pledge of Nonviolence. Links to other Pledge versions are below.

Family Pledge of Nonviolence[1]

Making peace must start[2] within ourselves and in our family[3].
Each of us[4], members of the ______________________ family, commit ourselves as best we can[5] to become nonviolent and peaceable people[6]:
To Respect Nature
To treat the environment and all living things, including our pets[7], with respect and care.
To Respect Self and Others
To respect myself, to affirm others[8] and to avoid uncaring criticism, hateful words, physical attacks[9] and self-destructive behavior.
Act Courageously
To challenge violence in all its forms[10] whenever I encounter it, whether at home, at work, in the congregation, or in the community, and to stand with others who are treated unfairly.
"Eliminating violence, one family at a time, starting with our own[11]."

IPJ Mission Statement and Focus
The Institute for Peace and Justice (IPJ) is an independent, interfaith, not-for-profit organization that creates resources, provides learning experiences, and advocates publicly for alternatives to violence and injustice at the individual[12], family, community, institutional and global levels.
IPJ was founded in 1970 by Dr. James McGinnis as a Peace Studies program at St. Louis University. In 1975, it became an interfaith center assisting families, educational and religious leaders and institutions, children and youth, and whole communities. In 1981, IPJ created the Parenting for Peace and Justice Network (PPJN) and program, extending its reach throughout the US and Canada to the rest of the world. Challenged by racial and economic injustice, by war and terrorism, by sexism and hate violence, IPJ has worked creatively, consistently and collaboratively to teach and advocate for alternatives to violence in public policy[13] and life-styles. In 1996, this collaboration resulted in the creation of the Families Against Violence Advocacy Network (FAVAN) and its Pledge of Nonviolence – for families, schools, Faith communities, workplaces and prisons. By 2004, IPJ had added a Teens Acting for Peace Program, a Pre-School Peace Program[14], a Violent Offenders Program, with plans for a Grandparents Acting for Peace Program as well.

[1] The “family” begins in the womb, whenever a child is conceived there exists a “mother”, a “father” and their unique “child”!
[2] Sadly, I don’t find anything in your materials that belies the “start” of peacemaking at conception?
[3] Once-again: (see “1” preceding) If the peacemaking doesn’t start when the “family” “STARTS” (CONCEPTION), then you’ve already “missed the boat”, so-to-speak!
[4] You opine “each of us” should sign the “nonviolence/ peace pledge”, yet nowhere do you identify the individual commitment to protect life at its most vulnerable moment in our society!
[5] “…as best we can”? Your “Pledge” can do MUCH MORE TO PROTECT HUMAN LIFE AGAINST VIOLENCE UNPROTECTED IN THE WOMB!
[6] As long as ONE MEMBER of your alliance is PRO-KILLING of the VULNERABLE, you contradict your intent to act nonviolently and peaceably!
[7] Dare we treat our pets with more respect and protection than our own children? Regardless of one’s beliefs in evolutionary theory, placing the honor and care of pets above the protections of the fetus against violence and agression is abominable!
[8] Respecting and affirming others includes the most vulnerable among us; those human beings whose parents feel pressured by family, friends, and social peers to “dispose” and destroy the child carried silently and secretly within their wombs!
[9] There can be no greater “attack” against the helpless than to literally tear them apart limb-from-limb and flush their body parts into refuse containers! When abortuaries profit after charging only $300+ dollars to destroy a human life, where is “respect” for the human person?
[10] Sacrificial killing of the young person is a most-heineous form of violence! If those of us opposed to violence and inhumanity don’t oppose it: Who will protect the defenseless?
[11] When Planned Parenthood criminally fails to report the rape and impregnation of young girls, and profits at their misfortune, compounding their pain and the legacy of their suffering, it’s entirely-possible that parents, grandparents, even aunts and uncles have no clue that their relatives have been quietly assassinated! By allowing the killing to go on by legal mercenaries like Planned Parenthood: We fail to protect our vulnerable family members who are secondarily-violated when our relatives are destroyed for-profit!
[12] I’m sorry to have to contradict your thirty-six years of fighting for nonviolence: But by neglecting to embrace the preborn you fail at your stated-goals!
[13] Will you embrace the full-extent of your stated-mission and work toward “public policies” which will protect the vulnerable preborn and provide safe, legal, and morally-peaceful alternatives for those who feel “trapped” in the vicious spell of killing the preborn?
[14] What could possible provide a more powerful “Pre-School Peace Program” focus than to champion the care and protection of the younger brothers and sisters of the pre-school generation?
