It was amazing to see almost 500,000 people there from all religions all there for the same reason. It was a very inspiring experience. I was amazed that there was no media coverage. Our local Catholic magazine "The Anchor" has a picture in this weeks paper of a doctor working on a 21 week fetus. While the doctor is working on the baby, the baby's hand grabbed the doctor's fingers. One picture is worth a thousand words. Also a local abortion clinic received an ultra sound machine, a donation from a local Catholic group. Since they received the ultra sound machine, 52 babies were not aborted. I felt called to participate in last Fall's 40 Days for Life and an amazing thing happened. God healed me. He healed me from much of the grief and despair I was going through after the unexpected death of my daughter. I never expected this but it happened. All the time I was praying outside the clinic little by little God was working His graciousness. He is so good and faithful and He meets our every need if we just open ourselves to Him even just a little. He gently pried open the door of my closed off heart and just poured the healing in. All the while He was saving mothers and fathers their precious babies AND clinic workers. God does heal as Abby so strongly states. Yes, I pray, fast for our unborn and for the women and the abortion doctors, nurses, but we need to do so much more. WE need to step up to save our babies, especially with this new administration. We also need to pray for our president. Silnce, she had money in her had to go have an abortion, and she went out the other door, so the 'Man"? didn't see her NOT have it. I have had 4 of my children born at home, was goin to be a midwife, but didn't work out with so many children, plus I went through a Annulment, and battled with alocholism.....26 years on May 13 1983! I was in a horrific motorcycle accident in 1999, was in a coma for 30 days,.......took a birthing doula class, have another e mail....birthingheartroot@yahoo.com.
