What an amazing few days!

January 25th, 2011 by admin

After speaking at a big pro-life event in Little Rock, Arkansas, I joined hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Washington, DC for the March for Life.

Before coming to the March for Life, our national director, David Bereit, was with former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson at the West Coast Walk for Life in San Francisco.

The West Coast Walk for Life is a rapidly growing event that attracted a record crowd this year.

Check out this amazing video of David and Abby firing up the audience of 50,000 people:

The enthusiasm we saw in San Francisco and Washington is now about to spill over in cities from coast to coast — and around the world …

… Because the next 40 Days for Life campaign kicks off in just six weeks!

We’ve heard rave reviews from the national Focus on the Family radio programs last week that featured Abby Johnson and me talking about how why she left her job at a Planned Parenthood abortion center and joined the pro-life movement.

You can hear both of these programs online …

I’ve already heard from numerous people who’ve been inspired by Abby’s story to bring 40 Days for Life to their communities for the first time — just based on what they heard on the radio!

If YOU feel led to LEAD a 40 Days for Life campaign in your town, applications for the next campaign, which runs from March 9 – April 17, are open for a few more days. Fill out the application online at:

Applications will remain open ONLY until next Monday, January 31. You can apply online or by mail.

With all the amazing energy we’re seeing across America and around the world, I think this is going to be a great campaign … and I can hardly wait to get started!

For Life,

Shawn Carney
