More conversions — praise God!
A few nights ago, I shared the stage at a pregnancy center banquet in San Antonio with Abby Johnson, the former Planned Parenthood director who experienced a profound conversion and left the abortion industry during last fall’s 40 Days for Life campaign.
As Abby shared the story of her conversion, I was again amazed at how God has transformed her life — through the prayers and efforts of faithful people.
Here’s a brand-new video of Abby sharing her story — and the impact of 40 Days for Life on her:
Abby is just one of 35 abortion workers who have quit their jobs at 40 Days for Life locations.
We just received two more amazing reports …
Mike Stack, 40 Days for Life leader in Southfield, Michigan, reports:
A week or so ago we got word that the office manager at the Womancare Abortion facility where we have been holding the Southfield 40 Days for Life vigils quit her job.
A few of the prayer warriors during the Spring campaign had befriended her and found out that she really didn’t like working there but felt trapped and unable to find another job. One of the prayer warriors, Christine, arranged to get her resume and did a professional upgrade for her.
We put the word out to our prayer warriors and a couple months later Casey found a new job and has happily quit working for the abortion facility.
A couple days ago I learned that Christine befriended the office manager the day a car drove in the ditch.
During the night shift at the 40 Days for Life vigil (about 2 AM) a car pulled off the main road and into the ditch next to the abortion facility. The prayer warrior at the time (Mike) did what he could to help the man including lending him his cell phone (to call a tow truck).
It wasn’t too long before the Police were there too and when Mike turned to the driver to get his cell phone back the guy was gone. This guy did not want to interact with the police and took off on foot (with Mike’s cell phone).
In was a interesting story at the time, we had some good laughs about it but all felt bad for Mike losing his phone. Mike took it in stride and now feels it was well worth losing the phone when he found out how God used this event.
Christine was showing up for her vigil hour about the same time the office manager showed up for work that morning. They both were drawn to the odd site of the car in the ditch and started up a casual conversation that led to a more serious one — and eventually a new job for the office manager. Praise God!
And here is the latest from one of the 40 Days for Life coordinators in a location that must remain anonymous for now:
I just got word from an anonymous doctor friend of mine that an old school buddy of his quit the abortion clinic in our town, due to the peaceful ‘local uprising over the past year’ that made him feel ‘bad’ about what he was doing! He couldn’t handle how gentle and nice we were to the women going in, and even to him, as he came out.
It is truly a miracle that a soul so hardened has been touched by the peaceful and prayerful witness at the abortion mill! Peace, prayers and love works miracles — the gentleness, honestly and love saves souls in the long run!
Regardless of what is happening in the political arena or with the latest Supreme Court nomination, know that with God ALL things are possible — changing minds, touching hearts, saving lives, and impacting eternal souls.
Thank you for your prayers and participation in 40 Days for Life — and beyond.
We’re working aggressively on the Ending Abortion initiatives we told you about on the “Steadfast” teleconference and webcast, and can’t wait to tell you more over the coming weeks!
In Christ,

Just a couple of weeks ago at the clinic where I go to pray a lady pulled up and said “I want you to know that last year I came here to have an abortion but because you were out here praying I could not go through with it. The baby’s father was putting a lot of pressure on me to abort so I came back second time but I still could not do it. Today I have a beautiful little 1 year old girl. Thank you so much for doing what you do.”

I share with you that I have trouble with Abbie’s witness. This is me; somewhere behind it all is some experience of abortion which at one level I have forgotten. So we all have a share in the sin of abortion, some greater than others. Give Abby my best-Ted Kershaw

Hi David,
I am so happy to hear these good news, because lately hurtful things
have been heard. We have to continue to pray to Jesus and beloved
Mother Mary to continue to guide and protect us in this task. In
Belize people we confront said there should be a choice, but I tell them
it should be a no choice and that is it. Aborting is killing and the Lord gave us the commandment where it says Thou shalt not kill.

Are you interested in receiving pro-life Rosaries for your 40 DFL or parish pro-life group? If so, please e-mail me. If you know any Rosary makers who might be interested in making these powerful gems, I can send them a color scheme for the beads with the accompanying prayers.

I feel truly priviledged to be praying for 40 Days for Life.
Praise GOD for every person that is touched by this ministry.
Thanks Abbie for your testimony and I know in my heart there are many more who could share what God has done for them.
These testimonies always give me encouragement while working in our centre and helping youth in our comunity.
We do not have an abortion centre here by our city is within 1 1/2 hours from here.
God bless your never ending work.

Back in 1976 for a fleeting moment I thought I would abort my baby. I was not sure who the father was. Thank God he took that out of my mind quickly and carried the pregnancy through. She is now 33 and is going to have a wonderful wedding this June 12th. She has served in the military to save our country. I thank God for giving me the strength in obeying his commandment & sparing her life years ago.

THEY SAY IT ONLY TAKES A SPARK TO GET A FIRE GOING AND THAT’S HOW IT IS WITH GOD’S LOVE.
IT IS TRULY OUR LOVE FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS THAT WILL SOFTEN HEARTS AND ULTIMATELY END ALL ABORTION.
ALONG WITH FASTING AND PRAYER OF COURSE.
I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE REPORTS IN BETWEEN CAMPAIGNS.
GOD BLESS

What testimonies! What power in prayer. I’ve been sidewalk counseling for about 2 1/2 years now and your presence can save a life! I know that personally. Your prayerful presence is often the “sign” a woman or a couple are looking for to keep their child.
Last Wednesday, by Gods’ grace I was able to talk a young couple out of an abortion, sending them across the street to a pregnancy help center and lead the man to Christ.
About a month ago 2 young women apprached me during the end of my shift and said, “Do you remember us?” I did.
The girl who decided to have her baby, named her after the city I grew up in without knowing where I was raised! Her friend went with her to her appointment to be supportive after staying up all night reading scriptures attempting to talk her out of it.
My presence there helped her friend, confirming the love and truth of the Scriptures she had shared that night.
You can do the same…by being there.
