A heartfelt THANK YOU to each volunteer, pastor, priest and minister who has spoken from the pulpit, staffed a sign-up table, sacrificed personal time, prayed indoors or outdoors, and stood vigil outdoors in rain, snow, sleet, sunshine, and wind and cold. 554 babies were spared from abortion through God’s mercy during this spring 2013 campaign - 554 stories of children who were so close to becoming another statistic. But because of your prayers and your courage to be there for their moms, today they have life.
Nine (9) of these babies were spared from abortion at Metropolitan Family Planning in College Park thanks to our Lord’s intervention and your prayers . God is listening and He does hear us. Pray that God will bless this effort and do as He promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14; that He will hear our prayer and heal our land. Please prayerfully consider whether God could be asking you to peacefully stand as His witness outside the local abortion facility as a sign to the community.
The College Park Spring Campaign begins on February 13th and ends on March 24th, 2013. Prayer vigils will be held seven days a week from 7 AM – 7 PM in front of the Metropolitan Family Planning Clinic, 5915 Greenbelt Road, College Park, MD 20740.
This spring, from February 13th to March 24th, our local community will join more than 300 U.S. cities (and a half dozen other countries) for the largest pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign. History will show that this unprecedented initiative -- uniting people of conscience in an intensive, focused prayerful vigil -- marked the beginning of the end of abortion.
YOU can help save lives!
WHEN: February 13th to March 24th, 2013. Locally, our goal is to have fervent prayer at the site of Metropolitan"Family Planning", seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Abortions are usually performed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so we are focusing especially on these days when mothers are going in and out of the clinic.

- Sign up to pray online using the vigil calendar.

We need individuals to commit to pray outside Metropolitan Family Planning on the public sidewalk by signing up to pray for one hour on a weekly basis, or even on a one time basis.
New to this powerful prayerful ministry? You are not alone. At least 1/3 of prayer vigil volunteers for 40 Days for Life have never prayed outside an abortion facility before. Please Let us Know if you would like to be paired with a seasoned vigil participant. 95% of Vigil participants surveyed report that they personally grew spiritually as a result of their involvement: "I didn't think I could pray in front of an abortion facility. Now I feel that I must."
