Prayer Vigil to close the 40 Days For Life Fall Campaign. November 1, 7PM to 9PM in the Right To Life House prayer garden.  All faiths and ages are welcome to give thanks and praise for the graces recieved from the efforts of the fall campaign.  


YOU can help save lives!

This fall, Lincoln's 40 Days for Life will run from September 23-November 1, 2009, our community will be one of more than 212 cities in 45 states joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

  • 40 days of prayer and fasting
  • 40 days of peaceful vigil
  • 40 days of community outreach

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility, located on the corner of 37th & South.

The Lincoln Planned Parenthood Vigil will be held 7 days a week - 16 hours a day (6am-10 PM) on the public sidewalk surrounding the Planned Parenthood facility and the Lincoln Right to Life property directly south of Planned Parenthood.  The last signup hour is from 9PM - 10PM. Please sign in at the book located in the wooden box along the side of the driveway.

We need 3 to 5 people per each hour of the day and night please.  Regardless of weather conditions the vigil continues on, you can park your car in the Right to Life driveway and pray from your car!!!

Please consider taking one hour a week either by yourself of with family,friends, or your church group/ministry.  Come during the vigil at least one time for 10 minutes - even coming once adds greatly to the prayer vigil!

Baby Luke is a little boy who was born in August of this year. His mother had an appointment at Planned Parenthood and by the grace of God and the presence of the sidewalk counselors, Luke's mom changed her mind and chose LIFE! Your prayer make a difference, Come join us!

The Lincoln Planned Parenthood abortion facility closed for 8 weeks following the 40 Days for Life campaign that was held during Lent 2008. Let this encourage us, as we again turn our prayers to God almighty!
