Christ tells us that some demons can only be driven out by prayer and fasting. The two go hand in hand. Prayer keeps us rooted in the fact that it is our desire to carry out God's will. Fasting is a sacrifice that helps us reach beyond our own limitations with God's help. Fasting is not a Christian diet; it is a form of physical prayer. You can fast from food, TV, alcohol ... anything that separates you from God.

Each day between now and the end of the campaign, please commit to pray and fast for the nationwide effort, and for the efforts here in our city.

Participate in the prayer vigil
 
This is the main activity in our twice-a-year prayer Campaigns where we can outwardly, but peacefully show our support for protecting life!

Although we welcome individual participation, we recommend that you participate as a member of a church, school or other organization. To see the list of churches, schools and other organizations that are participating in our campaign, click here.  If your organization is not listed and you are interested in coordinating their participation, please contact the 40 Days For Life-Manassas Campaign Director (Mike Baldwin) at mikebaldwin4life@gmail.com.

If you want to participate as an individual, you can sign up for a Prayer Vigil time slot by clicking here.

Our Spring 2013 Campaign, a 24-hour-a-day effort, began on February 13 and runs through March 24. You do not have to sign up to participate. If, during the scheduled on-site Prayer Vigil hours (7:00 AM until 7:00 PM every day of the week), your schedule opens up and you want to participate at the Prayer Vigil site, just show up! If you'd like to participate in our off-site Prayer Vigil (conducted on an individual basis), this goes 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
