We in Manchester participated in the global 40 Days Campaign which started on Ash Wednesday 13 February and ended on 24 March 2013.

The next Campaign will start on 25 September and finish on 3 November 2013.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

• 40 days of prayer and fasting
• 40 days of peaceful vigil
• 40 days of community outreach

PRAYER AND FASTING

Pray that, with God's help, we shall see the beginning of the end of abortion in our area -- and throughout England.

Pray that a large number of people will wish to join our campaigns and that hearts will be changed.  Fast by choosing any form of abstinence or penance.

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion clinic.
