2) New Business:  Helpers of God's Precious Infants will be starting 
Nov.18 as an outgrowth of 40 Days for Life.  This is an incredible 
ministry of hope and faith which will save many lives. The sidewalk 
counsellors will be present when the abortion mill is open on 
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays every week when the ministry 
eventually kicks into high gear.  The vigil calendar and sign up form 
will also be available soon on the website.  Please take the time now 
to committ to ONE HOUR A WEEK to coming out and silently praying to 
support the sidewalk counsellors in their work and providing the 
witness to the unborn.

They need your presence.

2) Time Slot Report:  Today is fully covered. The remainder of the campaign has spots though. This will be the last reminder on the time slot report. We just have few days left in the campaign. There are still some blank shifts that could be filled (click on Vigil Calendar). All that is required is for people to go to the site to pray. No witness other than our presence is expected. While you can show up without signing up, if you find you have some free time, it is good to register in advance, so others will know when they are most needed. 3) Operations Report:

HALLOWEEN: Saturday is Halloween and the final full day of the Campaign. Typically on that night we can expect some nasty individuals to attempt to disrupt the vigil. The most critical times are from 9 pm to 3 am as people leave the bars near Bank Street. It would be wise to have a massive presence at the vigil site during those hours to deter any interruptions of our vigil. Hence if you can be free during those hours, please register so we’ll have an overwhelming presence the last night of the campaign.

CLOSING RALLY & DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME! Message from Wanda:  We will fall back and lose one hour, so everyone needs to remember this when they come to the closing rally.  It will start at 7:00 pm across the street from 65 Bank.  After about half an hour of speeches (so far we have Sarah Sonne, 4 My Canada; Doris Gagnon, sidewalk counselling;  Stan Siok, English Catholic church coordinator; Guy Dacquay, French Sector) we will have a candlelight procession down the Sparks Street Mall to Metcalfe St.  On Metcalfe we will go south to St. George's Anglican Church (152 Metcalfe St. at Gloucester St.), enter by the office entrance for a prayer service followed by refreshments. If people park and walk to Bank Street, it might be best if they park somewhere along Gloucester Street. After 6:00 pm, on-street parking is free.  If people park by St. Patrick's Basilica, then they can walk up Gloucester Street after the gathering at St. George's, west towards the basilica.  St. Patrick's Basilica is on Kent St. with Nepean on one side and Gloucester on the other.  Last time some people did not realize that there are only three blocks from one church to the other.
