I dropped in for a short visit in the morning as I had some business downtown. The two pink ladies and the security guard were there. I met up with Frances. She told me that there was no sidewalk counsellor today.
I had a conversation with her and she told me a little about her abortion. People think when you're pro-life you can't understand what compels women to have an abortion and that you only look on them. That is a lie from the devil to prevent women from seeking freedom from the past. When I heard Frances' story, I imagined the confusion that compelled her to go down that path. Women are often deceived into thinking that abortion is the only choice.
If any woman who is reading this needs healing from abortion, please don't hesitate to seek out spiritual help. God can transform you in ways you never imagined.

Today , Friday October 29, I was standing a few feet away from the front door of 65 Bank praying without a sign. I felt God led me to pray there today. After a while the security guard, the older man, came towards me and asked me to leave. He said if I want to protest, I would have to go across the street and join my friends. I told him I have no sign and this sidewalk is public property. He actually told me the sidewalk was property of the Sparks Street Mall. (This is a lie). Even though he did intimidate me to some extent, it wasn't without doing the Lord's will. I prayed out loud to him and "blessed him with the sign of the cross towards his chest".
A similar thing happened on Wednesday when the other younger security guard approached me as I was simply praying quietly with one of the other volunteers. He told us we had to be walking. I challenged him that he and the other pro-choice people were not walking, they were standing still. I asked him if he was a Christian and he professed to be one but said he didn't want to get into that. At this point he stopped talking directly to me, but kept talking to the other volunteer. I prayed out loud towards him asking the Holy Spirit to come and declared Jesus is King. Actually it looks like God is sending these people to me for prayer, because all I am doing is standing praying quietly for an end to abortion when they approach me. Our God is awsome, people! Praise him!
