40 Days for Life opening event:
Please join us on Saturday, Sept. 22nd at 2:00 at St. Agatha's Church hall for our kick-off event. The address is 1430 SE Nehalem St. Portland OR. Our speakers include Bill Diss, Randy Stewart, and a video of Barbara Friedhoff and her husband Jim Ross, who were interviewed on 8-11-12. They live in Lisbon, Portugal, but come to pray at Planned Parenthood's abortion center with us for about 1 month every summer. Combined, these two have been in the Pro-life movement for 34 years, 6 of which have been over in Portugal.
They are strong and dedicated pro-life workers and have very interesting information to impart!
After the speakers, we will proceed to the Planned Parenthood at 3231 SE 50th (and Franklin St.--one block north of Powell) for a prayer session, and to see the abortion center where we will be praying for the 40 days. We will show you where to park, where you can stand vigil, etc. Please join us so you can see the lay-out of this "new" 40 DFL site!
