You can fast from food, TV, alcohol ... anything that separates you from God. 2. Spread the word The success of 40 Days for Life depends on the most powerful form of advertising in the world -- word of mouth. Tell all of your friends, family members, co-workers, and fellow believers about 40 Days for Life. Encourage them to visit this web site where they can learn more and get involved. 4. Find your role.
Each day between now and the end of the campaign, please commit to pray and fast for the nationwide effort, and for the efforts here Raleigh.
- Talk to your Pastor or Priest about 40 Days for Life. Encourage your church to participate.
- Form Respect Life/Sanctity of Life committees in your church or parish.Become active in education and awareness for those in your church.
- Educate at least 5 people each month about the harm of abortion and find ways to volunteer in your local Crisis Pregnancy centers.
- Learn about the help available for the mother and the father in an unexpected pregnancy. Reach out to them with compassion and offer them information and hope.
- If you are in need of abortion healing or know of someone who is, please go to the abortion healing website. Each day we continue to pray for you and for your healing.
- Dedicate yourself never to be silent, and to be a voice for the voiceless.
- Pray at home and while standing outside the local abortion facility.
