Learn More About 40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life is a groundbreaking grassroots movement in Austin to protect unborn human life. It is a campaign of prayer, fasting, community outreach and a constant peaceful vigil to end abortion.
The campaign's visible public centerpiece is a peaceful, prayer vigil at an abortion facility. Another important element is community outreach—increasing efforts to spread the word and witness to friends, colleagues and neighbors about defending the defenseless.
40 Days for Life is quickly growing into a global movement, after beginning in College Station, Texas in 2004. The movement is gaining momentum and already having a tremendous life-saving impact.
More than 1,175 women chose life for children they intended to abort, abortion facilities shut down and abortion workers converted. There are also countless unseen ways God is moving hearts and changing minds through the campaign.
