Fall 2009 Campaign Activities and Plans;

Thanks to all of you who participated in the Kick Off Rally last week. We had a great turnout. Special thanks to Sean Martin for emceeing the event and to Bishop Nickless for his role not only in the kick off event but also for his continued support and spiritual direction for the Sioux City Catholic diocese. We are so blessed to have so many strong spiritual leaders in our Christian community here in Siouxland.
Make plans now to attend the "Baby Shower" for our Midway Rally scheduled for Sunday, October 11th at 2:00pm. It will be held near the Sioux City Planned Parenthood. We ask that people bring new baby items such as diapers, clothing, baby blankets, etc.
A few other events to take note of:
- Lila Rose, recipient of the Operation Rescue's 2008 Person of the Year Malachi Award, will speak at the Msgr. Werner Activity Center in Hartington, Ne on Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 pm. For those of you unfamiliar with Ms. Rose, she has exposed various planned parenthood abortion clinics of illegal dealings by posing as an underaged teen seeking an abortion. Her videos have been posted (and banned) on Youtube. Don't miss your opportunity to hear one of the most influential prolife speakers of our generation!
- Sioux City will participate in various Life Chains next Sunday, October 3 from 2:30 - 4:00pm. Life Chain, participants will line up in the following locations; Hamilton Blvd, Gordon Drive and Stone Ave in Sioux City and Dakota Ave in So. Sioux City
- Abortions are done at Planned Parenthood every other Tuesday and we would love to have a large presence there on those days between the hours of 7am and 2pm. The next abotion Tuesday is this coming Tuesday, September 29. Please stop by to hold vigil and pray if you are able.
