"If you didn't know" - What is the 40 Days for Life?
*Is a prayerful, peaceful public witness at a local abortion center as a display of an alternative to the despair of abortion.
40 Days for life is held twice a year, and involves a 40 day long, 24 hour prayer vigil. It involves a three step approach to ending abortion: prayer, fasting, and community outreach.
Now that you know what it's all about, come out and pray today :)
Womancare of Southfield
28505 Southfield Rd.
Southfield, MI 48076
1/4 mile South of 12 Mile Rd on the
west side of Southfield Rd.
* In 2011, Dallas pro-lifers helped 819 abortion-minded moms choose life for their babies. Since 1997, 8 abortion centers in Dallas closed their doors, with 5 only remaining. Dallas is doing it; we can do it too. Let's take this as our challenge to reduce the demand for abortion in metro Detroit.
Memorial Service
At 4:30 p.m. each Saturday, we have a Memorial service for the victims who died at Womancare and other abortion centers during the past week.
They say words speak for themselves.
Well that has never been more true than in the videos below. Please watch the videos and see what I mean :)
And our partners in Sterling Heights gave their own testimony.
Check out our Resources link for materials to help make your 40 Days for Life prayer vigil more meaningful (or see our resources in the on-site van).
