HOME: Welcome to 40 Days for Life

BABIES SAVED THROUGHOUT THE 40 DAYS CAMPAIGN (2/17-3/28):  319

" Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to die; save them as they stagger to their death.
Don’t excuse yourself by saying, “Look, we didn’t know.”
For God understands all hearts, and He sees you. He who guards your soul knows you knew.
He will repay all people as their actions deserve.
"

-- God's Word (Proverbs 24:11-12)

ADOPT A DAY TO PRAY
Last campaign we had 18 days adopted by local Churches...

Dates available:  March:  18 - 24 - 25 - 27

Days adopted this campaign to-date:  15

If you would like more information on how to sign up your Church for a day of prayer at the 15 Mile WomanCare Clinic, please email Dianne B (our amazing Adopt A Day Coordinator) at dijonbart@comcast.net or dbdivinemercy@live.com

Check the sidebar under Adopt A Day to Pray to
see if your Church is listed...

Questions regarding Adopt A Day...

1.  Where do individuals park when they arrive to pray for their hour?
When many prayer warriors are expected, parking should always be in the cul de sac next to the clinic (on Eason Street) -- there is a little walkway to 15 Mile Road from that street.  We can park a few cars in the parking lot, but away from the clinic -- but, like I said, if the businesses are busy, we do not want to take spaces away from them.

2.  Are there any rules they need to follow once they get there?
Yes... they can be found on our website under eCommunity / Weekly This-n-Thats (and they were sent out in an earlier email).  The rules are pretty self-explanatory.  We are there to pray for the unborn and for life.  Also, on the rule list you will find other helpful numbers/info.

3.  Is anyone allowed to carry a sign?  Or is it better not to have one?
Signs are welcomed...as long as they are not offensive in picture or words.  We keep many signs in the car which is parked in the cul de sac  -- also, in the car are informational pamphlets for anyone who has questions (clients or the public)....there are also different prayer materials to use while out there praying, including songs.  We ask that prayer materials and signs be returned to the car when prayer hours are over.

4.  Does Dodge Park dead-end at the strip mall where the abortion facility is at?
Yes...Dodge Park dead-ends at 15 Mile Road -- and goes into the strip mall.  The clinic is the west end unit -- the upstairs is the abortion clinic and the downstairs is a dentist.  You can find a map for the clinic on our website.

5.  What kind of prayers are preferred while out there?
Any prayers that you would like to say...Chaplet, Rosary, Praying Scripture, using the materials from the car, just talking with God, being silent, singing favorite songs/hymns....  This is your time to be with God and be a public witness for life in peaceful prayer.  Whichever way the Holy Spirit moves your heart to pray....do it.

Thank you for being the voice of the pre-born!

And....you might be asking.....

WHAT IS 40 DAYS FOR LIFE?

This is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

40 days of prayer and fasting to end abortion

40 days of continuous peaceful, prayerful hours outside the clinic

40 days of community outreach to educate

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

The clinic:  While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful praying of our prayer warriors outside the local abortion facility...ours is located at:

WomanCare of Macomb Abortion Clinic
11474 Fifteen Mile Road
Sterling Heights, Michigan

[Clinic is located at 15 Mile/ Dodge Park roads--south side of 15 Mile and is the west end unit of strip mall)
