INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHTS

From Robin S...
I heard something on Catholic Radio the other night and wanted to share...

"Satan is the most destructive when he takes life."  This made me think, and I wanted to share my thought on this...

"Human Beings have a cycle in Life. We become Old, like an Elder, before that we are in our Mid-Life, and before that, we are in our Prime. Then, we became an adult, and before that a Teen, a Child, a Baby and in the beginning, we were an Unborn Child. So why, in the name of the Lord, would we, in our right mind think it's legal to kill off any one of these Cycles of Life?  It's not legal to kill old people, because they inconvenience us. We don't say it's legal to kill off a teen or a child because we're having a hard time getting a handle on being a parent. It's not legal to kill a spouse, because he or she is cheating on us.  So, why kill an Unborn Child, who is hiding in it's mothers womb for protection, so it can grow strong and not be so fragile when it comes into the world. Well, after writing this, I have to say I know the answer... These people that do this are COWARDS!  They have picked the most delicate part of our LIFE CYCLE to destroy... Our Beginning as a Human Being. How perfect for them. The Cowards can destroy life that doesn't have it's own identity yet. The Unborn Child doesn't have a voice or the knowledge to say, "STOP! HEY! I'M ALIVE IN HERE!" That is our job as Christians to do that.  You know, Satan is so good at playing us. He does know our weakness and he will use it against us, because he HATES US. Right now he's using Cowards, because these people wouldn't make it legal to kill a baby, a teenager, a young adult, an adult,or elderly person, just because you have the legal right to or CHOICE. May God have mercy on the souls that think this is Legal. May God Bless you and Protect you as you Grow in your Endeavor of Life..Robin S

A Beautiful Thank You Prayer from Jill H.... (February 2009)

Thank God for the many blessings He has given us for the Spring 40 Days. Thank You for Maribeth and Sue who coordinated this event. Thank You to all the new prayer warriors who have volunteered to pray with us and to spread the word to their Christian Communities.  Thank You to all the former prayer warriors who continue to spread the word and have rededicated themselves to a new campaign; a campaign that is sure to be as fruitful, if not more fruitful, than the last. Thank You for the Knights of Columbus who stand for life and give us a place to gather in promotion of life. Thank God for all the clergy willing to come out to lead us in prayer. Thank You for the women who bravely stand and share their testimony in the hopes of sparing another woman from the lies about abortion. Thank God for our vigil coordinators Mary B. and Mary V. and Carol B. Thank God for all the families that will be spared the horrors of abortion by our prayers and sacrifices. Thank God for all the abortion workers who will turn their backs on the abortion industry forever because of our efforts. Thank God for all the abortionists whose hearts will be changed to the culture of life. Thank God for the hearts of Americans who will be changed from indifferent to on fire for positive change and the moral good. Thank God for the politicians who promote life-saving and life-preserving bills. Thank God for the conversion of politicians and individuals who promote the culture of death. Thank you Father, Son, and Holy Spirit for guiding us, protecting us, and strengthening us as we walk in the desert for the next 40 Days. Thank You for blessing us and anointing us and helping us. Thank You for Your unending love. Thank You for dying for our sin and renewing our lives in You, Jesus. AMEN

A beautiful poem from Ellen...and her Angels:  (Fall 2008)

IT'S IN THE VALLEYS I GROW
Sometimes life seems hard to bear, full of sorrow, trouble and woe,
It's then I have to remember, that it's in the valleys I grow.
If I always stayed on the mountain top, and never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God's love, and would be living in vain.
I have so much to learn, and my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops, but it's in the valleys I grow .
I do not always understand why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing; my Lord will see me through.
My little valleys are nothing, when I picture Christ on the cross,
He went through the valley of death; His victory was Satan's loss.
Forgive me Lord, for complaining, when I'm feeling so very low,
Just give me a gentle reminder that it's in the valleys I grow.
Continue to strengthen me, Lord, and use my life each day,
To share your love with others, and help them find their way.
Thank you for the valleys, Lord, for this one thing I know,
The mountain tops are glorious, but it's in the valleys I grow!

Sharing a beautiful prayer from our sweet sister in Christ -- Jill H (Fall 2008)

Lord, please help us to show your love and forgiveness to all the families faced with an unexpected pregnancy.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit help us to witness to them that every life is a gift from God. That the greatest gifts are given when they are a surprise. Who doesn't like it when someone unexpectedly compliments them. How much greater a blessing is a child that arrives exactly when you plan it, Father!  You are the giver of life and every precious gift comes from you. We love you and we praise you for the life you have given us and for the strength you give us to be you for those in need of a friend.  What greater friend do we have than you, Jesus? Amen
