out to meet the prayer volunteers at the 40
Days for Life campaign this fall. And in the
background you can see the abortion facility
where he was scheduled to be aborted.
His mother pulled up in front of the 40 Days
for Life vigil this fall in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She said to the prayer volunteers, “Dunno if you remember me, but a year ago you stopped me. Look in the back seat — he’s PERFECT.”
This picture tells the entire story of 40 Days for Life. Shamus is one of 1,128 children who have been spared from abortion in the last 14 months. And one day, we pray that you also can have the experience of meeting a child who is alive because of your faithful participation in these efforts!

As you look at that picture, think about what it will
feel like when the abortion facility or Planned
Parenthood nearest to you posts a similar sign — the day when you realize that due to your faithfulness, no more children will perish there and no more women will be wounded there.
To Date:
- Over 175,000 have joined together in this historic display of unity, by praying and fasting for the end of abortion
- More than 70,000 people have taken to the streets, forming peaceful 40-day prayer vigils outside of Planned Parenthood centers and abortion facilities
- Reports from around the country document that more than 1,100 lives have been spared from abortion — and those are just the ones we know about
- Five abortion workers (that we know of) have quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry
- Three abortion facilities have completely shut down following local 40 Days for Life campaigns
- Hundreds of women and men have been spared from the tragic effects of abortion, including a lifetime of regrets
- More than 400 news stories have been featured in newspapers, magazines, radio shows and TV programs from coast to coast
- Many people with past abortion experiences have stepped forward to begin post-abortion healing and recovery.
