Below is an inspirational and motivating story that demonstrates the power of prayer.  It will be amazing to see how God will work in our community during and after 40 Days for Life.

God Bless you and your family!

This is a true story about a great pro-life activist by the name of Pastor Johnnie Hunter.  Pastor Hunter is a great black preacher in the South.   He had a group of his parishioners praying out in front of an abortion clinic one day.  They stayed for many hours praying up a storm and they were very fervent.  They were really praying and praying and as they were praying they counted at least eleven women go into the abortion clinic that day.  As they were praying not one of them spoke to the women and not one of them turned around while they were standing there praying.  All of the women went into the abortion clinic and they stood there praying and praying.  Finally the women were in there for a couple of hours and the good christians that were there decided to go home and call it a day.  But while the women were sitting in the waiting room waiting for their abortions they were listing to all that
good prayer outside.  The praying was starting to impact their hearts and one of the women that was sitting there started to cry and as she started to cry she said out loud, "I can't have this abortion I am going
to keep my baby."  As she started to cry another one did the same thing and she started to cry and said she couldn't have the abortion either.  She was going to keep her baby.  All eleven women in the waiting
room that day decided to keep their children.  But the people that were outside never knew about it because the people in the abortion clinic wouldn't let them go until the prayers left.  Then, about a year later one of
the women came up to Pastor Hunter and showed him a beautiful baby and said your prayers saved this baby.

All prayer has some kind of affect.
