When a church or group adopts a day, the goal is to choose a day or night during the campaign and sign volunteers to cover every hour of that shift. The goal for "Adopt-a-Day" is to sign up members of your group for twelve hour shifts, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
If the group is small, think of signing six individuals, and asking each individual to find a family or friend to join them at the vigil site for two hour shifts, thus covering twelve hours!
The goal for "Night Watch" is to sign up members of your group for twelve hour shifts, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
