?We had one turn away last week,? said Holly, the 40 Days for Life coordinator in Dayton. ?Praise God!?

During this campaign, the volunteers have come up with 40 Days of Scripture as part of their vigil.

?We have divided the entire New Testament into 40 days of reading,? Holly explained. ?Our prayer volunteers read the assigned passage for the day aloud. We have had many positive responses to this additional feature.

Many other people are reading the daily passage at home with their families.

?By reading the scripture aloud, we release the Word of God into the spiritual realm where the battle to end abortion is being fought,? she said. ?We understand and value the importance of God's Word ? and that's why we wanted to make His Word a focus in our prayer efforts.?
