There is now at least a small ray of hope.

A judge has agreed to consider new evidence in the case of Charlie Gard -- a seriously-ill 10-month-old boy in London whose life is at risk. Charlie's parents are asking for permission to take their son for experimental treatment -- possibly in the United States.

The hospital's lawyers say there is no chance the youngster will ever recover, and that life support should be withdrawn.

I was in London this past weekend for a conference with 40 Days for Life leaders ... and had a chance to pray outside Great Ormond Street Hospital -- where Charlie is being treated -- with 40 Days for Life board member Haywood Robinson, M.D., and board chair Matt Britton.

We recorded a short video to explain more about Charlie's situation ... and how, at this defining moment, it is important to stand up for an innocent child whose right to life is under extreme attack.
