From March 6 to April 14, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.

Please note: The permit does not allow us to stand in front of the Planned Parenthood (PP) facility, because it is private property, so we have to go up the driveway to where we enter the complex where 16th &17th Streets comes to a point at that juncture and Hospital Plaza Dr. All traffic to the PP clinic has to drive past us – there is no other way to get to the clinic.
Their hours of operation are:

Thurs 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Fri 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Signs and drawstring bag:
If you need a sign, please stop at Ave Maria Family Practice, 1230 Medical Center Drive, very close to the vigil sight. When passing vigil sight on your right side, it's approximately 3 roads down, turn right at Walgreens and and go down less than a 1/4 mile, Ave Maria on left. The signs are located in a large black portfolio behind the brown couch in the waiting room. Please be mindful that it is a business and try not to draw attention to yourself. Take a sign and the drawstring bag, which has literature to give a mom or literature on how to get out of this sort of work for a PP employee. Other items are inside, promo items, rosary to borrow, etc... Check it out so you know what you have to offer if anyone approaches.
Ave Maria is usually closed on the weekends.
Whatever you borrow from the portfolio MUST be returned when you are done with your vigil hour(s). Do not take home, others will need. There will be a yard sign as well if you want to post while you stand or pace back and forth. The metal posts for yard signs are at the bottom of bag. Please return! If you leave sign there, someone will take and discard it. Thank you so much.
I am not leaving all the signs I have in the portfolio. I fear someone may mischievously sign up here, read this and go dispose of them. We live in a crazy world and I worked in a jail too long! Causes me to be vigilant at all times. ;)
Thank you all so so much!
