We have reached the end of the fall 2009 40 Days for Life Campaign.  My sincere thanks to all of you who have participated in and encouraged this effort.  I appreciate it more than I can possibly say.

Those of you who attended our VICTORY CELEBRATION on Sunday, Nov. 1, know that we were privileged to have TWO outstanding speakers with extensive experience on the front lines of the pro-life movement.  In addition to our scheduled speaker, Wendy Wright, we were honored to be joined by David Bereit, National Campaign Director of 40 Days attend with his family.  It was an inspiring evening.

This fall, from September 23 - November 1, our community will be joining the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history -- the 40 Days for Life campaign.

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life effort that consists of:

We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and throughout America.

Take a stand for life

While all aspects of 40 Days for Life are crucial in our effort to end abortion, the most visible component is the peaceful prayer vigil outside the local abortion (or Planned Parenthood) facility.

You can help make a life-saving impact by joining our local vigil at:

Access site is from the Duke Street service road which you can turn onto from Duke Street at Cambridge or West Taylor Run Parkway.  The site is just east of Bishop Ireton High School on the same side of the road.  

There is ample, unrestricted parking on West Taylor Run Parkway and a few 4 hour spaces on Longview Drive very close to the site (just west of the Bank of America).
