Equity Clinic is a private abortion facility, which sadly means that we currently have two abortion facilities in Champaign. This abortionist relocated to central Illinois due to stronger pro-life protections in the state where he previously operated. Sadly, many abortionists are looking to expand in Illinois, and especially in central Illinois, due to our central location.
Equity Clinic performs both chemical and surgical abortions on pre-born babies up to to 24 weeks old. Their hours for patient appointments are:
Thursday 12 noon to 5 pm (Please note that Thursdays are NEW.)
Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Saturday 8 am to 5 pm
Sunday 8 am to 5 pm
Monday 8 am to 5 pm
People are welcome to come pray whenever it is most convenient, but are especially encouraged to come pray when the clinic is open. Individual churches are encouraged to pick a day and time to come and pray. There is plenty of parking on the street right outside the facility.
40 Days for Life has only one official location for this fall 2026 prayer vigil and that is the Equity Clinic. However, we recognize that many people in our area are accustomed to praying outside Planned Parenthood (PP) since that facility has been in operation for longer. For those who are accustomed to praying outside PP, please consider also praying outside the Equity Clinic, perhaps during a time that PP is not open. PP is normally not open on Saturday or Sunday.
Equity Clinic is open for scheduling appointments from 7 am to 4 pm, 7 days a week, but their actual appointment schedule is 8-5 from Fridays thru Mondays, as noted above. They have also now recently ADDED appointments on Thursdays from 12 noon to 5 pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Seasoned prayer warriors should be out praying on set days and times.Those details should be posted on the website calendar and our Facebook page. It will be updated throughout the 40 Day campaign time period which is September 23rd to November 1st this year (2026).
