Welcome to the Portland Oregon 40 Days for Life website!

What better way to find JOY and HOPE in moving forward in the New Year than to participate in a 40 Days for Life campaign?!!


The campaign dates for this Spring are:
Wednesday, Feb. 13th to Sunday, Mar. 24th 2013

The site for this campaign will be the Planned Parenthood at 3231 SE 50th (and Franklin St, one block north of Powell) Portland, OR

Let's come together in unity through prayer, fasting, and peaceful presence at this abortion facility, and turn hearts and minds from apathy and misunderstanding to awareness and respect for the profound value of every human life!

PLEASE SIGN UP for some times by clicking on the vigil calendar above.

We will try to have prayer volunteers there everyday, from 8:30 to 5:30, and beyond if anyone wants times outside of these hours.

So many great things happened during our last campaign--let's keep the momentum going !

AND, fantastic news--David Bereit and Shawn Carney, the directors of 40 DFL have written a BOOK. It is called "40 Days for Life--discover what God has done......Imagine what He can do".

And guess how many chapters it has?

Portland 40 Days for Life Finale
The Portland 40 Days for Life Prayer Campaign will hold its closing Prayer Vigil and Celebration on Sunday, March 24. We will start with a prayer vigil at 1:00 pm outside the Planned Parenthood located at 3231 SE 50th Ave, Portland. This will be followed at 2:00pm with a potluck/celebration at the St. Agatha Catholic Church Parish Hall. St. Agatha is located at 1430 SE Nehalem St. Portland.
 The featured guest speaker at the prayer vigil and/or the celebration is Aaron Auer, founder of ROAR (Reviving Oregon's Amazing Roots) Ministries. Everyone is welcome to join in prayer at the vigil and, at the celebration, to hear and share stories of how God has saved lives and changed hearts through 40 Days for Life!

We would like to THANK Dina Marie Hale and the KBVM (88.3 FM) staff for all of their announcements and promoting the life-saving work of 40 Days for Life on the air. KBVM does all of this at no charge to us. Please send a contribution to KBVM today! And keep on praying.
