40 Days for Life Lent 2025 Campaign: February 18, 2026 - March 29, 2026
We need YOU--people of all ages, of all races and all faiths--to help build a culture of life in our community. There is no special training needed. Just a prayerful heart and a desire to protect life at all stages from conception til natural death. It's easy. We provide signs. You don't need to be eloquent or know all the answers. Simply direct vulnerable women to Anchor of Hope, located just across the street. There women with unplanned pregnancies are offered support, free compassionate care and the truth about all their options. Let God do the rest.
40 Days for Life is a peaceful, prayerful presence on the sidewalk along 909 S. Taylor Drive and New Jersey Avenue in Sheboygan (outside Planned Parenthood), to pray for an end to abortion. We ask God to put an end to abortion by changing hearts and minds to value the sanctity of life from conception. Every abortion ends a human life.
Do not park in Planned Parenthood's portion of the parking lot, and we have recently been told by the manager at Aldi that we cannot use their parking lot while we are on the sidewalk praying. Instead use the few parking spots on New Jersey (going west) by the trail head/hiking path that goes into the woods. This seems to be the only public parking nearby.
We pray for God's mercy for the millions of innocent lives who have been taken from the safety of their mothers' wombs through abortion. We live in a time when others defend abortion using 'nice' words, like "Pro-choice" and "Women's Reproductive Freedom". But one person's freedom ends when it causes harm to another. Pregnancy is not a disease--Abortion is not healthcare.
We pray for vulnerable expectant mothers and fathers, and for healing for those who regret prior abortions. We pray for our lawmakers, abortion industry workers and all Americans to be open to the Truth that abortion results in the death of an innocent unborn human being. Be a voice for the voiceless unborn. Pray that abortion becomes UNTHINKABLE.
