40 Days for Life Fall 2026 Campaign: September 23 - November 1, 2026
We need YOU--people of all ages, of all races and all faiths--to help build a culture of life in our community. There is no special training needed. Just a prayerful heart and a desire to protect life at all stages from conception til natural death. It's easy. Just sign up for one-hour time slots to pray outside Planned Parenthood in Sheboygan. We provide signs. You don't need to be eloquent or know all the answers. Simply direct vulnerable women to Anchor of Hope, located just across the street. There women with unplanned pregnancies are offered support, free compassionate care and the truth about all their options. Let God do the rest.
40 Days for Life is a peaceful, prayerful presence on the sidewalk along 909 S. Taylor Drive and New Jersey Avenue in Sheboygan (outside Planned Parenthood), to pray for an end to abortion. We ask God to put an end to abortion by changing hearts and minds to value the sanctity of life from conception. Every abortion ends a human life.
There are public parking spots across S. Taylor Drive near the trail head for Willow Creek Preserve. There are two spots to the north of the driveway (use these first if available) and four spots to the west. They have work days when they need to get equipment in so don't park there if that seems to be the case, or move your car if asked for that reason. Be extra careful crossing S. Taylor Drive to get to the vigil site. It's a busy intersection. Public parking is also available at the Wildwood Complex on New Jersey Avenue, and at Indiana Avenue and S. Taylor by the river. However, both of these options are an uphill walk to the vigil site.
We pray for God's mercy for the millions of innocent lives who have been taken from the safety of their mothers' wombs through abortion. We live in a time when others defend abortion using 'nice' words, like "Pro-choice" and "Women's Reproductive Freedom". But one person's freedom ends when it causes harm to another. Pregnancy is not a disease--Abortion is not healthcare.
We pray for vulnerable expectant mothers and fathers, and for healing for those who regret prior abortions. We pray for our lawmakers, abortion industry workers and all Americans to be open to the Truth that abortion results in the death of an innocent unborn human being. Be a voice for the voiceless unborn. Pray that abortion becomes UNTHINKABLE.
