When you trust God, show up, and pray during a 40 Days for Life campaign ... abortion facilities CLOSE!

Here are two fresh examples, starting in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

In August, 2014 ... word quickly spread that a Texas abortion company, which was unable to comply with new state laws, was going to set up an abortion facility across the New Mexico state line in Las Cruces.

People in Las Cruces quickly organized a 40 Days for Life campaign .... and the center's opening was delayed by about -- yes, 40 days.

Eventually it opened, and four more 40 Days for Life vigils were held. In addition, these local volunteers organized into the Coalition for Life of Las Cruces to take prayer and activism to the next level.

And now ... Mark Cavaliere, the local 40 Days for Life leader, says "all signage on the former Whole Woman's Health abortion facility has been removed, their office emptied, and their Texas-based call center confirms that their Las Cruces location has been closed! All praise, all glory to God!"

There's more -- Lexington, Kentucky!

On Friday, EMW Women's Clinic in Lexington closed its doors. There had been 13 vigils where 40 Days for Life volunteers prayed fervently outside.

Over the years, the prayers had an impact. By the end of last year, the abortion center was only open two days a week.

This leaves only one abortion facility remaining open in Kentucky. That business is in Louisville -- another 40 Days for Life vigil location -- and volunteers will be there once again for the next campaign from March 1 to April 9.

Grassroots momentum is growing!

For some time, we've been closely watching several other facilities that stopped taking clients and showed no signs of activity. But we've been very cautious about adding them to the "closed" list -- some facilities that appeared to be closed later re-opened, so it's good to be sure.

Two said they were "temporarily closed" for remodeling. Another said they had lost their lease and were searching for new quarters. Still others had been involved in legal actions and we wanted to be sure that reopening was not a possibility.

But now ... we're affirming that six more abortion centers are no longer operating -- in Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois ... and two in Indiana.

SO ... since 40 Days for Life volunteers started praying outside abortion businesses in 2007 ... we are now aware of 83 abortion facilities that have closed their doors forever following 40 Days for Life vigils!

As Mark in Las Cruces said, "All praise, all glory to God!"

This is God's victory. Could this happen in your town next?
