Guatemala City, Guatemala

“Two babies saved so far!” said one of the 40 Days for Life team members in Guatemala City.

In addition, six women who’d had abortions have approached the volunteers seeking information about post-abortion healing. So already, this first 40 Days for Life effort in Guatemala’s capital city is having a positive impact.

The vigil has the support of Bishop Victor Hugo Palma of the Catholic Diocese of Escuintla, who has endorsed 40 Days for Life and encouraged people in his diocese to participate.

I can not tell you how this story touched my heart today reading about Guatemala. I have an adopted daughter from Guatemala and the tears started flowing this morning as it hit me how close she was to being aborted were it not for her courageous mother. God Bless the women who stopped by for literature on post abortion healing. I told my daughter today your mom thinks of you and misses you and loves you but she can rest easy knowing she gave you life.
