Ante, who has helped bring 40 Days for Life to TEN cities in Croatia this campaign, tells of an 18-year-old woman in Vukovar who had found out she was pregnant.

She had one child already, and for some reason she found herself at odds with her husband and his family. She next turned to her own family for assistance, but things were no better there. They are not very well off, her father is ill ? and she was not treated well at home.

The young woman then turned to 40 Days for Life volunteers and a local pregnancy help agency, who worked together to find her a place to live while she?s awaiting the birth of her child.

The combination of prayer and compassionate help bears fruit once again!

With 40 Days for Life, David wears many hats. Prior to joining the 40 Days for Life team, he was an award-winning radio and TV journalist. He has also served as a board member for a pregnancy help center and as publications director for a major national pro-life organization.
