For months I said that Kamala Harris' strategy to run with abortion as her number-one issue was risky and depressing, even for abortion supporters.
That is one reason she lost--and lost handily--to the president with the most pro-life record ever and the president she demonized for helping overturn Roe. v. Wade.
Voters just weren't inspired by a celebration of killing children all nine months of pregnancy. Not only did Harris' abortion gambit fail, but several heavily funded referenda to enshrine abortion in state constitutions were also defeated.
As the polls opened yesterday morning, I appeared on Fox News and predicted that abortion would be a political loser:
