Abortion supporters argue that third-trimester abortion is a myth. Unfortunately, it is not. It's a gruesome reality.
A mother accompanying her daughter to the abortion facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, approached 40 Days for Life participants, who immediately offered help...
...but it was too late. "It's already done," she responded.
The baby's short life had ended the previous day, when an abortionist injected the seven-month-old unborn child with digoxin to induce a heart attack.
The mother and daughter had now returned to the abortion center to deliver the baby's remains.
"That was my grandchild," the distraught grandmother acknowledged. "This will never happen again."
"She told us that her grandchild was a fighter," explained Claire, the longtime campaign leader. "It took three hours before no heartbeat could be detected. She said they were told they couldn't leave until the baby had no heartbeat."
The woman had told her daughter not to have an abortion, and a number of family members offered to raise the child. "However, the daughter was 'on dope' and insisted on killing the baby," Claire explained.
"That baby most likely would have suffered withdrawal but [would have] been able to live a good life. We have had moms addicted to heroin who then transition to methadone."
God has since used Claire and her team to save at least two confirmed babies from abortion!

Culiacan, Mexico
A woman in Western Mexico attempted to induce an abortion using herbs--but she, too, was blessed with family members who wanted to empower her to choose life.
When the woman's aunt learned about the attempt, she remembered hearing about people praying in the streets for an end to abortion, found the 40 Days for Life vigil, and asked for help.
Fortunately, it wasn't too late--the attempted self-administered abortion had failed. The baby survived, and the mom has since chosen life and accepted help at the local pregnancy help center!
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
A couple in the Cream City entered Planned Parenthood at 9:56 a.m....
...and left just 22 minutes later after deciding not to go through with the abortion!
"Bad weather is always rough on conversations," said Dan, a longtime vigil leader in Milwaukee. "But it didn't seem to stop them from happening today."

Dear Lord, I know that you are always with me and that you work all things for good. When the truth of your perpetual presence is difficult to grasp, give me the grace to remember that you are a good and gracious father in every circumstance. Help us to speak this truth to those around us. In a special way, we ask you to wrap mothers who feel abandoned in your mantle. Amen.
