The 2020 spring 40 Days for Life campaign has come to an end...
...and we have 343 confirmed reports of babies saved from abortion--with reports continuing to come in!
With the campaign finished, we now move into Holy Week. Tune in to this week's episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast as we dive into the week that changed the world:

A young mother holding hands with a pair of toddlers approached vigil participants with tears in her eyes.
"You saved my babies and my family," said the mom.
When she and her husband visited the abortion facility in 2018, they were homeless and unemployed. "We can't possibly add the responsibility of two more babies," the husband told Sacramento co-leader Wynette.
But a month later, Wynette answered a call from an unknown number. "You talked to my husband at the abortion clinic. I was already in my gown, prepped for my abortion when he came to get me. We decided to choose life for our twins, but we really need help."
Unfortunately, after the twins were born, the family went into a tailspin and cut off contact with the 40 Days for Life team...
...until coming back to visit Wynette and her crew on the sidewalk.
"Mom and dad are now drug free!" Wynette wrote. "They are grateful to God, and mom wanted to come say 'thank you!'"
Wynette hugged the mother and bent down to embrace her twins. "Imagine seeing, holding and hugging children who are alive today, due to your prayerful presence!"
Though public 40 Days for Life vigils came to an early end, we continue to share stories from the campaign's first 25 days.
Bronx, New York
A couple leaving the abortion facility beckoned 40 Days for Life participants over to share that they were not planning to abort their twins.
"We have no intention on terminating," the couple told prayer warriors. "We thank you for your willingness to help...and would even like to give you updates. Thanks again for being so kind and willing to help us, it is much appreciated."
Cardiff, Wales
Two years ago, a couple in Cardiff sought an abortion after doctors said the baby likely would not survive due to a severe complication.
Thankfully, Mary was standing vigil and encouraged the couple to choose life because if the baby did die, at least they'd know it would not be at their hands.
They took that advice to heart. Last month, the father returned to the vigil site and introduced prayer warriors to his daughter!
"The hairs were standing on the back of his neck just talking about it..." said 40 Days for Life Director of International Campaigns Robert Colquhoun. "...and he was almost crying when he left.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. On this rock I will build my church; the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Father, we have done battle with the power of evil, and therefore we can have compassion on those still within its grip. We have been freed from the kingdom of darkness, and therefore we can bear witness to your Kingdom of Light. May the witness of all your people through these 40 Days for Life bear abundant fruit.
