We are not entitled to results.
God calls us to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, and results are up to Him, not us. When we focus on being faithful and not successful, God will show us the fruit of our labor.
JC in Yuba City, California waited an entire year before she learned that a mom chose life thanks to her presence at the fall 2019 40 Days for Life vigil.
Find out how JC learned of the baby she saved last year in this new, raw video:

JC's story isn't unique. Around the world, 40 Days for Life volunteers report moms, dads, and grandparents coming back to the vigil site--months or years after the fact--to introduce vigil participants to the babies they never knew they saved!
Overland Park, Kansas
I recently visited the Overland Park 40 Days for Life campaign, where a young mother pulled up to the vigil to speak with volunteers.
The woman shared that when she arrived at the abortion facility to end the life of her child, the presence of peaceful prayer warriors touched her deeply, and she canceled her appointment.
The mother then gestured toward a toddler in the back seat and said, "Here is the survivor!"
Vigil participants were delighted to meet the child they helped save. "The mother said she was so thankful for the witness that truly saved her baby," reported the Overland Park team.
Wenatchee, Washington
"Today we learned of a baby saved from our Wenatchee 40 Days for Life efforts!" reported Jeannette. "A woman told our volunteers that it had been on her heart for a long time to stop and let us know that her daughter and son-in-law visited the Wenatchee facility for an abortion referral, but after talking to a very nice lady on the sidewalk, she chose to have the baby instead!!"
The woman was THRILLED by her granddaughter.
"The kicker is that this was SIX YEARS AGO!!" Jeannette said. "We may never know when or how our prayers are answered, but God knows."
El Cajon, California
40 Days for Life Director of Medical Affairs & Education and former abortionist Dr. Haywood Robinson recently visited El Cajon, assuring vigil participants that their prayers would be answered.
"You were right!" El Cajon leader Vicki told Dr. Robinson after the visit. "Just today, we learned that a very happy grandmother came by our prayer site with a picture of her new granddaughter. She is convinced it was our presence and prayers that changed her daughter's heart, and the result is a new happy family!"
Reno, Nevada
40 Days for Life Outreach Director Sue Thayer recently spoke at a campaign event in Reno, where a young couple--possibly teenagers--approached Ana with their eight-month-old baby.
"Thank you, God and you guys who pray here because we came to the clinic to abort our daughter," the couple explained. "And when we were inside, we felt that someone told us not to do it and get out of there. We decided to have our Baby!”
The father repeatedly and tearfully lifted up his little girl to show how proud he was of her. "Thank you for your time to come pray outside the clinic," he said.
Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sin is covered. Blessed is the one to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.
— Romans 4:7-8
Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father, thank you for your amazing grace that saved a wretch like me. I come against the enemy of my soul who would have me feel cast down and dejected. Lord, keep your children from falling prey to the accusations of the father of lies. Turn our mourning into dancing and may we bring praise to you as we give testimony of Your healing and restoration in our lives.
