SAVE THE DATE for Tuesday, April 25, when we'll share the final results, the best stories, and key developments for the future on our campaign wrap-up webcast!
You did it! We've reached the finish line of the largest Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign in history.
At the moment, we know of 331 babies saved from abortion thanks to your prayers since February 22. But more reports will continue to come in over the next few weeks!
A woman with a HUGE problem showed up for an abortion in El Cerrito, California. She had conceived a child through an affair--and there was no hiding her infidelity because her husband had been sterilized.
But before she went through with it, she spoke with 40 Days for Life participants, who gave her the courage to own up to her mistake without killing her child.
"The lady chose life and is going to ask her husband for forgiveness," wrote Ana, the local leader.
Ana said the woman is afraid to tell her husband the difficult news--but she plans to fight for her marriage.
The love, humility, and self-sacrifice of vigil participants sends a message of hope into even the most difficult situations.
"We continue to pray in the rain," Ana said. And that's why the El Cerrito campaign has saved three babies this spring.

40 Days for Life director of international campaigns Robert Colquhoun reported that at least three women chose life during the Lenten campaign--in spite of a buffer zone keeping vigil participants away from the abortion facility:
- One couple shared that they changed their mind about abortion;
- Another woman took two abortion pills that didn't work before deciding to keep her baby;
- Campaign participants overheard an argument in which a woman informed a man that she would NOT be having an abortion!
Walnut Creek, California
An abortion-bound couple stopped to talk with 40 Days for Life participants standing vigil on a cold, wet Friday morning.
A Sidewalk Outreach volunteer spoke with the pair for several minutes, sharing resources and alternatives to abortion.
The couple continued into Planned Parenthood's parking lot, but sat in their car talking for two hours.
"Our volunteers continued fervently praying for a change of heart and mind," said Jodie from the campaign team. Prayer warriors even texted other campaign participants to increase prayer.
Pro-lifers' hearts sank when the couple went into the abortion center...but rose again when they left just ten minutes later.
"Life triumphed!" Jodie wrote. "Praise God!
On this rock I will build my church; the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Father, we have done battle with the power of evil, and therefore we can have compassion on those still within its grip. We have been freed from the kingdom of darkness, and therefore we can bear witness to your kingdom of light. May the witness of all your people through these 40 Days for Life bear abundant fruit.
