More than 100 prayer warriors gathered for a 40 Days for Life rally--despite temperatures in the upper 90s!
Lainey, a college student at the University of Arizona, shared a powerful testimony of how a doctor targeted her for abortion.
"Her mother was expecting triplets, and the doctor strongly recommended 'selective reduction' to give Lainey’s two brothers a stronger chance of surviving," explained Laura, the Tucson leader. "Yes, Lainey would have been the one to be aborted."
Fortunately, Lainey's mom chose life, and all three siblings are now thriving!
Teusaquillo Santa Ana, Colombia
Just before she entered the abortion facility, an abortion-vulnerable young woman noticed the 40 Days for Life vigil and turned around.
A few minutes later, she reappeared, so vigil participants offered her a pregnancy test...which came back positive.
"The girl went into crisis because she didn't know whether she should have her baby due to her financial situation," said 40 Days for Life director of Latin American campaigns Lourdes Varela.
But when vigil participants offered her resources and friendship, the mom decided to keep her baby!
Sarasota, Florida
Rich and his team welcomed vigil participants from a new church that had not previously been involved in 40 Days for Life.
"They took the noon to 7:00 p.m. shift and will do so again," Rich said. "Over the seven hours, 19 people came...a blessing and a wonderful group of people."
Peter got out of the boat and began to walk on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw how [strong] the wind was he became frightened; and, beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Thank you, Lord, for my doubt, which allows me to practice faith. Hear my prayer for expectant mothers. Give them the courage to walk in faith. Help them to see the nobility of their motherhood. Through the storms of life, keep them close to you and comfort them in the safety of your arms. Amen.
